What You Can Expect In Our Work
Non-Judgmental Clarity: An intersectional approach that considers the multiple factors (past, present, future) impacting you as individuals and as a couple.
Authenticity: A therapist who is genuinely interested in supporting you in meeting your goals for our work.
An experiential approach: We will use recent events, as well as unresolved regrettable incidents from your shared past, to help you repair and vitalize your relationship. Together, we will look at the causes of the challenges you’re facing and you will learn how co-create solutions to them.
Concrete Support: You will receive verbal coaching and research-based tools for how to broach and move through challenging conversations and arguments.
Length and frequency of sessions: Sessions are 90 minutes long and are weekly. The 90 minutes includes five to ten minutes at the end to schedule future sessions, settle payment, and tend to other matters when necessary.
Fees: Your fee is determined by your realistic assessment of what you can afford based on a sliding scale ($350-525 per session).
Location: All sessions are currently online. We’ll use the SimplePractice videoconferencing platform that is end-to-end encrypted and HIPPA-compliant.
