Helping queer, trans, and intersex people of color get free(r) from trauma and oppression through relationship psychotherapy.
Here at Meliora Consulting, we are always working to improve things for others. We stand for the enrichment and freedom of queer, trans, and intersex people of color (QTIPOC).
As a Black lesbian psychotherapist, writer, and public speaker addressing the mental health and well-being of queer, trans, and intersex people of color (QTIPOC), my work is rooted in the fundamental belief that humans intuitively resist oppression. In my clinical practice I support QTIPOC communities in recovering from intersectional oppression and complex trauma.
My psychotherapy practice is informed by over 30 years as a licensed clinical social worker as well as over 20 years as a Yorùbá-Lukumí priest of Ògún. In addition, I have comfortably had a foot in both the academic and creative writing worlds for several years.
